- Use Copan ESwab 480C for swab specimens
- Copan 482C swab with smaller flexible tip is also available on request by contacting Laboratory at 315-917-8199
- Must be sent to Lab within 24 hours of collection
MVHS staff: Refer to Eswab Collection Instructions For Microbiology Culture Testing LAI 2311 in Policystat for further instruction
Storage
Break ampule and send to Lab ASAP. IF swab cannot be plated immediately, refrigerate swab.
