Collect mint green top lithium heparin plasma separator tube (PST), gold top serum separator tube (SST), or red top (serum).
Do not use alcohol wipe to clean arm before drawing blood.Iodine antiseptic not containing alcohol may be used.Storage
Keep tube tightly capped. Serum and plasma are stable for 14 days at 2-8 °C and 180 days at ≤ -20 °C.
