Specimen Collection and Handling
-Collect Nasal Swab using Copan ESWAB - collect the nasal specimen by sampling both nares one at a time with the same swab. Place the swab into the transport tube containing the Liquid Amies Transport Medium.
-Specimen stable at room temperature (15–30°C ) up to 24 hours. Specimens should be refrigerated if transport to lab is delayed.
