Collect mint green top lithium heparin plasma separator tube (PST), gold top serum separator tube (SST), or red top (serum).
Venipuncture should occur prior to Metamizole (Sulpyrine) administration due to the potential for falsely depressed results.Storage
Serum and plasma are stable for 5 days at 2-8 °C and 14 days at less than or equal to -20 °C.
